HOME SWEET HOME

First, I'm SOooo sorry tt I haven blog 4 such a long time liaoz...cos I was on holiday to china ma....DUN ask mi y china k? I only agreed 2 go bcos e whole tour grp of 16 was made up of all my family members n afew of their close friends. Sounded like a gd idea rite?? NOT!!!! The last time i went to china was 6 yrs ago n there's a bloody gd reason to tt!! tink i'll stay away from it another 5yrs ba...9 DAYS!!! wat was i tinking of putting myself in such misery!??!?! The company n shopping was great but the food, ride, places (ESP THE TOILET!!) was just terrible!!!

DAY 1
China immigration sux!!!! BIG TIME!!! took them 4eva to clear the 30 odd ppl from the plane?? almost 30mins i tink....tsk tsk tsk....After tt, we went to 2 scenic places (boring!! nuthg much to see...not tt i'm interested in...kekeke) Dinner time was madness!!! They served us a 10-course meal!!! U tink u're feeding pigs ar?!?! kaoz...their salt n oil like free like tt....veg was salty n damn oily lor!! Oily to the extend u can feel the oil all over ur mouth after eating!! YUCKS!!! Such a turn off!! plus the usual sight of bicycles EVERYWHERE...heaps of them!! Imagine a lady wearing an office suit (skirt hor!) riding a scooter with her handbag on her shoulder...weird eh??

DAY 2
Took a domestic flight to Shangrila in the morning. Immediately upon arrival, we were brought to see a lake tt was 3700m above sea level. Shangrila itself is already 3000m above sea level? Hahahaa....they even bought us to buy oxygen packed into those air freasher or baygon type of bottles....Lucky we brought enough O2 man!! All the aunties had trouble climbing back up from the lake lor....it was abt 800m walk from the point we got off the bus to the lake. hahahaa....it was pretty funny how my dad had to carry the O2 all over the place to let all my aunties hav a breathe on it every few mins. Den we visited this place with some lamas inside hu could read ur palm n tell u how sick u r....pretty accurate lehz....By night time, we were bought to the Ah Ya tribe family's house to see a cultural show. I have to say tt the guy's dancing was amazing man....he had to turn n spin n turn n spin n turn n spin....see until i headache n he can still stand straight!!! But after repeating the same sort of dance style for an hr, we got bored n decided to walk out of it...kekeke....
